Tracy Radford

With over two decades of experience in social care, community development, and the arts, Tracy has dedicated her career to supporting marginalised communities.

In 2006, Tracy, along with Jayne Williams, co-founded Unanima and spearheaded the development of an innovative theatre making process that centres on the lived experience of learning disabled and autistic communities, co-creating groundbreaking performances and challenging exclusionary practices in the arts.

As CEO and Artistic Director, Tracy is continuously developing new and exciting work strands. Her self-declared mission is to continue to think creatively to spark solutions that ensure Unanima not only grows and flexes within the climate we find ourselves, but consistently works within local and national networks to push and demand for a place for learning disabled and / or autistic artists to have an authentic relevance.

Brad English

Brad is a Clinical Psychologist that specialises in learning disability and autism, with over 10 years experience in the NHS. He is involved in most things from strategizing, to therapeutic support to participants and colleagues, as well as delivery across many of the programmes Unanima runs.

In addition to his psychotherapeutic work, Brad is a committed campaigner for shifting the narrative on learning disabled people and levelling things up for them in terms of health inequalities and life opportunities. Within his clinical practice Brad makes use of a range approaches including CBT, CFT, CAT, and Systemic Family Therapy, while employing principles of Rogerian unconditional positive regard and Vygotskian social learning. These are all principles that he skilfully weaves into the creative expression for learning disabled people that Unanima provides.

Brad is very creative in his approaches to adapting intervention to be accessible to the cognitively impaired, utilising audio-visual technologies and community-based practice within this. Brad states a commitment to making all he does inspiring and meaningful to those he works with.

Tash Bird

Starting in 2015, Tash was commissioned as singer / songwriter for the show 'Love, Life, No Sat Nav'. Tash brought energy, skills, and elevated the theatre we created, and as a result, Tash joined Unanima Theatre's Creative Team in 2018.

Tash is now Senior Producer for Unanima, facilitating several strands of work and leading on programming for OneFest.
Tash is an integral part of the team and plays a pivotal role in helping Unanima drive impactful advocacy and change within the arts.
