Our Chair of Trustees, Clare McShane, is a lawyer for, and a trustee on, several existing charities, and has extensive experience of funding expectations and delivering against them. Clare has experience of managing conflict and risk both within her work and trustee commitments, Clare will lead on this.
An aspiring actor herself, Stacey English has many years experience of performing with Wells Little Theatre, and is a self-confessed theatre enthusiast. She is our first learning disabled trustee and as such is an expert by experience, guiding us in our drive to make serious inroads into board level diverse leadership.
Andy Dawson is the Manager of Inspire Youth Arts (IYA) and has 20 years of experience overseeing the delivery of professionally led arts participation and career progression for young people across Nottinghamshire. IYA is part of the Inspire NPO. Andy has championed the work of Unanima since its inception and works closely with us to achieve our aims of representation and equity. Andy’s experience of the arts and delivering against NPO targets is a great asset to the team.
Sophie Hack was the Assistant Producer for In Good Company. In Good Company is the flagship professional creative and business development programme for theatre makers and companies in the Midlands, providing mentorship, business support, resources and high-profile performance opportunities. Sophie is now studying for a Masters in Producing and will bring her knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to our board.
